QMB New Energy Project is a joint venture between Tsingshan, GEM, as the leader of the construction, and Bangpu. In March 2021. In August 2022, the first phase officially launched. The first phase invested about 1 billion US dollars. The second phase is expected to start construction in October 2022. The second phase expected to invest about 900 million US dollars, covering an area of about 70 hectares, the main products are 50,000 tons of nickel and 4,000,000 tons of metal cobalt per year

As one of the main suppliers of hoisting equipment, CMI invested in 21 cranes of various types during the peak period, and more than ten other equipment participated in the construction. CMI provided a 300-ton truck crane to participate in the construction, which is the largest tonnage crane in the project.
